As a mother of 4 children, I have bandaged a lot of owies. Some of the wounds large, and others almost invisible. I have noticed that there is a tenderness and a closeness that is necessary, to properly treat a wound. A delicate, caring touch is required. A heart of empathy. A gentleness in applying the bandaid. This is the picture painted of our Heavenly Father, by the Psalmist. He is a God who brings healing to even the most painful circumstances of our lives. Not only does He bring about the resolution of our pain, but He also bandages our wounds from this life. He does this, not out of duty, but rather out of His immense love for us. Pray you feel His healing hands…and allow His loving touch to bandage your wounds…today and always!
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Psalm 147:3
