On a recent evening we had to drive up a steep mountain road to get home. It was dark and snowing. Snow was packed heavily on the road and it was slick and steep. All 6 of us were crammed in my husband’s truck. I was terrified. He drove very slow and steady and the journey took a much longer time than usual. My palms were sweaty and I prayed the whole way. As we arrived at our destination, I thought how life is full of mountains. They are scary. Daunting even. Yet, we take each one slow and steady and keep our eyes focused on Jesus. When seen as a whole, mountains seem insurmountable. When conquered piece by piece , we see our God is able. Praying for trust and peace for the mountains for each of you…today and always!
Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4
