Unbeautiful to Beauty

A few days ago I observed a gorgeous sunrise.  The science teacher in me knows that often pollution in the air causes the beautiful sunrises and sunsets we see. The sun shines through and reflects off of the particles in the atmosphere. To me this perfectly illustrates what God’s presence does in our lives.  Our God makes beauty out of our ashes.  He makes the ugliness and dirt of our past a trophy to His grace and forgiveness.  He uses our mistakes to bring about transformation.  Pray you always look for the “sunrises” in your life and the lives of those around you and give God the glory…today and always!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.                            2 Corinthians 5:17
